Episode 175: Devon Van Noble on raising pigs, roasting pigs and selling at the farmers market

This week we're joined by Devon Van Noble, of Van Noble Farm in Trumansburg, New York. Devon raises, roasts, cures and sells his pork products at the Ithaca Farmers Market and at his on-farm butcher shop, and also caters special event pig roasts. In this episode we chat about Devon's transition from selling wholesale to direct, how farmers markets helped him diversify his revenue streams, and some of the challenges small farmers currently face.
